Sound Of Liberation UG in partnership with Desert Scene UK is pleased to announce the very first DesertFest coming to Berlin / Germany on April 19th, 20th and 21st 2012. Ultimate heavyrockpsychdoom rendez-vous with 2 stages, many many bands playing across 3 days, a beergarden, a hippie corner market and art exhibit... Don't miss it!

We've been breaking our heads for quite a while, wondering what could be a good concept to shape up a cool indoor festival for music lovers where the underground vibe remains. Our british partners from DesertScene contacted us and offered to work hand in hand to build up a concept: The DESERTFEST.
Same time period, partly shared line-up, 2 of the biggest european capitals We jumped on the idea and here comes the DESERTFEST Berlin !
3 days to enjoy Berlin and its very best sound! For this very first edition the DESERTFEST Berlin will happen in the famous ASTRA club... From Thursday 19th of April 2012 in the evening until Saturday 21st April 2012 at night
The very best bands of heavyrockpsychdoom will chain up between 2 stages in the big venue (1500 people capacity) and the foyer (500 people capacity) You'll get to enjoy art exhibits in the entrance of the foyer and also a chill out at the Bingo Bango Bar with unplugged sets.
In the back of the venue, you'll take your time to enjoy the good April sun and blooming nature in the Beergarden: tables, benches, a bar with tasty German Beers and Food stalls where to grab something from the Barbecue or some vegetarian delights. Also relaxing will mean walking around the Hippie Corner featuring merchandising, record stores, artwork and crafthanded items from international artists.

It's also the chance to dive into the European most pulsing underground music and art scene ! "Subkultur" and "Underground" this what Berlin is famous for... Did you know there are up to 150 theaters, 300 galeries and 180 museums !?
