Amy Winehouse: Bricht Aufnahme-Session ab!

Nachdem die letzte Woche allem Anschein nach eine gute Woche für Amy Winehouse war, beginnt die neue wieder mit einer negativen Schlagzeile. Ursprünglich sollte Amy sich gerade auf den Bahamas aufhalten, um ihr neues Album einzuspielen. Die Plattenfirma nahm viel Geld in die Hand und stellte Produzent Salaam Remi an ihre Seite. Doch Amy hat die Aufnahmen abgebrochen. In aller Abgeschiedenheit sollten die Sessions stattfinden und das neue Werk Ende 2008 veröffentlicht werden. Daraus wird laut der Plattenfirma nichts mehr. Dies hat den Veröffentlichungstermin auf das Frühjahr 2009 verschoben. Ob von all dem auch der Titelsong für den neuen James Bond Streifen betroffen ist, bleibt fraglich.

"Island wanted to get her away from it all and thought it would be great surroundings for her.

“It was a very expensive trip and it was hoped they would make some decent progress recording the album.

“But Amy pulled out at the last minute. The album was planned for late 2008, but her label is now privately admitting it's unlikely to happen until 2009.

"She's not the kind of artist you can just stick in the studio for a month and get an album done. And I now think early 2009 would be a good result."
